The buttons on the Teeho TE001 and TE002 locks can be programmed to silence the beep sound. Here’s how:
It’s a simple process that doesn’t involve fiddling with complex menus, it just requires you to press the right buttons at the right time.
Restoring Sound to Lock
To enable the silent mode feature, begin by pressing the Teeho button twice to activate it from sleep and enter programming mode. Enter your master code so the lock recognize the command.
Now press the Teeho button once more to enter into entry mode. Hit the number 4 key followed by the number 2 key right away. Lastly, press the Teeho button a final time to save the silent mode setting.
The manual confirms these steps. It instructs users to press the brand button, enter the code, press the button, hit 4, hit 2, and then press the button again.
So, as the manual shows, this is how it’s done. Press the brand button and type in the code. Press the button again and hit 4, then 2. Press the button one more time. Success is indicated with a flashing green light, just keep an eye out for that.
The keypad respond quickly, and each press feels solid.
Each button press is solid and the response time of the keypad are quick.
Once the sequence is done it simply shuts off. From that point forward, you won’t hear any beeping as you get closer to the door, making the space even quieter.
That doesn’t mean the function of the lock have been impaired, however; you can use it normally just like you have in the past. It’s nice because the silence won’t end until you choose otherwise.
To switch the sound back on again, simply follow a similar procedure. First tap the Teeho button twice and enter your master code. Next, press the Teeho button followed by the number 4 key (this is how you muted it).
The difference is that you press the number 1 key instead of the number 2 key.
In this case, it’s a matter of pressing the number 2 key rather than the number 1.
Finally, press the Teeho button again to turn the sound back on.
When it does, the green indicator will illuminate very brightly.
The mute sounds as loud as an unmuted beep, returning immediately so you can clearly hear it from the other side of the room.
The single key that switches between muting and unmuting make it easy to switch back again. The pattern is simple to remember; just press 1 when you want sound and 2 if you need silence. You should of tried this earlier. The process is naturaly easy and feels more comfortabley than the old way. It is actualy better than the moddern locks. The pattern is more simple than the others. This process is based off the instructions. The lock should of worked better. It’s a luxurius feeling when it’s quiet. One should of checked the manual first. The keypad is more different than I thought. I would of liked to recieve a better guide.
