It’s best to shut down your Dyson Air Purifier prior to starting so it doesn’t accidental get turned on.
No luck with the remote; it didn’t seem to be recieve any signal. And the built-in power supply was probable dead, too.
Replacing the Remote Battery
Using a precision screwdriver, you unscrewed the screws on the underside panel, but they weren’t very tight. After loosening them, back cover slid off and revealed old battery. It looked like it has been there for many years.
With very little force, you was able to remove the old CR2032 cell from its slot. You didn’t have to pry at all; a soft tug would of do the trick. The compartment had been cleaned up so it was time to replace it.
Well, you remembered that these thing come with batteries so you took out a brand-new CR2032 from your drawer. Those things are common item in your house.
So you popped it in and, easy peasy, installed the new battery. You dropped the cell back where you found it and it slipped right into place. It locked instantaly. And there you had it: working remote.
