Inspecting the Interior Components
Look for a seam along the outside edge of whatever bottom cover you’re working on. That’s where there’s just barely enough space for your little pry tool to fit. Then give it a light push, use your leverage on the clips and presto, the plastic give way and you hear a tiny click. That means you got the first clip popped.”
The bottom case is attached to the main chassis via a few clips in the perimeter of the device, so ignore the rear panel’s labels and vents. Working your way around the device will cause it to slide further into the gap. When you notice the tension has eased up a little bit you’re there.
Flipping the device over, you now get a clear view of what’s underneath. There’s a warranty sticker dated 2019 telling you that if you remove it, your warranty are voided.
But in for a penny … or something like that: you want to get inside, so you hold down on the lower edge and don’t rip off a tiny little black strip next to the hinges.
Using the same even pressure, no sudden yanks, you work your way around the side until finally the bottom panel begin to peel loose. Work it carefully because you do not want to bend the chassis. As it pulls apart, it becomes easier to see.
Then you feel the rest of the clips give away. And the bottom cover come loose.
But you don’t force it the rest of the way because now there’s no tension on it. It just relaxes naturaly. It takes a bit longer then you thought it would, but doesn’t break anything plastic and doesn’t damage any tool.
The entire bottom is removed, revealing the motherboard and battery.
The interior is clean with minimal dust.
Inside was very clean. No dust in sight.
The cover has a blue mat that is nice and grippy and holds it in place. You lay the cover down face up on the blue mat.
The edges are checked for any leftover resistance, and there isn’t any. It’s completely separated from the cover and it’s out of here.
Because a single misstep will sever a connector, you stay locked in at all times. Everything gets its careful check and patience pays off.

You can have a successful tear-down without ruining your resale value, or at least keep the same look. Now you can move onto unplugging the wires. You should of been careful. It was more difficult than I thought. The moddern chassis can be tricky. I could of done it faster. The furnitures is all over the place. I hope you recieve this. I am livig in a room.
