It’s super-easy to set up via the Xiaomi Home app (a couple of minutes) and can be connected so that you monitor it remotely too. When the tank fills up, the app sends an alert straight to your phone; useful if you’re not nearby.

But on the upside, it’s easier and faster than hauling buckets of water everywhere, which is what I’d been doing with the drain hose solution.

After the initial setup, now you simply plug it in, go about your day and that’s it… Set it and forget it. It also has a 22-liter capacity, but this isn’t an unlimited amount.
